From the classic black Labrador retriever to the little cutie schnauzer, or any lovely mixed breed dog that has an inky, smoky, or charcoal color, black dogs are a special bunch. With their shiny, luscious coats and soulful eyes, they deserve the most unique names to match them well. We went through our database of dog names and handpicked these most suitable choices. Ideas range from dark-colored foods to "black" in other languages (other than English), and to animals of the same color and so on. If you think more subtle and sophisticated, the better, then this list will be perfect for you!

Hello ! This Is me!

COURTESY POSTING! If interested, please contact owner at: [email protected] Nova is a one year old, 14 pound very energetic and friendly cockapoo pup who loves to be close to her people—she’ll follow you around like a shadow! While she has a hyper personality, she’s also affectionate and sociable with everyone she meets. She does have some selective hearing and can be a little anxious and nippy at times, but she’s been improving. I would love for her to go to a home with energetic adults who live an active lifestyle. Nova has a lot of energy and would thrive in an environment where she can run, play, and stay engaged. Additionally, she would benefit from some extra training to help her channel her enthusiasm and further improve her manners. She would do well as the only dog in the home and one with a fenced in yard. Nova is spayed and up-to-date on her vet care. She is located in the Metro Boston area and a rehoming fee is required, which will be donated to a charity. If interested or have any questions, please contact owner at: [email protected]
