Meet Rocco! Rocco is a 1 year old male yorkie and he weighs about 5 pounds. Rocco arrived in rescue when his previous family could no longer care for him. He has settled into foster care nicely and is ready for a forever family to call his own! His foster mom says: This sweet sweet boy will steal your heart! He loves to cuddle, on the couch and in the bed at night. He is always under foot so no senior or tiny humans please as he WILL trip you. He has not met a stranger yet and good with other pups in the home. Would probably do best if another pup was in the home his size or a little bigger would be fine and similar energy level. This little guy will follow you every.where.you. go! He is a shadow dog without a doubt! Rocco can squeeze through gates and will do it if you are on the other side of said gate. In fact he will most likely beat you to the room where you are going. He is a typical yorkie and likes to voice his opinions whether asked or not. He does bark for a few minutes after you leave but settles down pretty quickly. He is not fully house trained, but we are working on it. If you have a fenced yard, you must go with him, as he won’t go out on his own and due to his tiny size. Rocco walks well on a harness/leash. He is not a fan of crates and will let you know how displeased he is if he is put in one. When petting on another dog Rocco will run right over and paw at your hand so he can get all the pets. He loves attention! Do you have lots of love and time to give this cutie?
Rocco is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and has had his teeth cleaned!
Rocco is fostered in the Orlando area and his adoption donation is $450.
