Good food. A comfortable place to rest. Smelling the flowers, savoring the feel of a warm sunbeam. And, above all, being with loved ones. Or it can take a Sissy. Sissy is content with the simple pleasures of life. She loves relaxing on her bed and will just enjoy her time there, going to her water bowl when she gets thirsty. She enjoys cuddling sessions. She relishes her rides in a stroller on warm days, sniffing the breeze. When her foster family goes on a road trip, she enjoys the car ride; she is an excellent traveler. When the four dogs in her foster home are playing around her, she likes just being near them. And oh yes, she loves her meals and her treats! She communicates well with her humans. If she needs something - food, a water bowl refill, to go out for potty - she barks. She will also signal if she needs something during a car ride. This sweet, calm, laid back girl experiences life with her nose and her heart. She is mostly blind and deaf. Her fosters say she has mapped her areas in their home and has her favorite spot there. Because she is not able to see or hear when her humans are not around to respond to her barking cues, she would do best in a home where someone is home most of the day. Gets Along With: Sissy currently lives with dogs and does well. She hasn't been seen with cats. Adopt a dog:Opal/Mixed Breed/Female/Baby,Adoptable O-Litter Meet our adorable, adoptable babies, Oliver, Olena, Oren and Opal. They are all between 5-8 pounds and currently 7 weeks old. They will be available to leave with adoptive families once they turn 8 weeks. These babies were turned in to an overcrowded, rural shelter without a momma at 5-6 weeks of age. Like typical puppies, they are still learning all of the basics! We are looking for committed adopters, willing to take out routinely for potty breaks, who will use positive reinforcement training techniques, and willing to make lifetime commitments. The puppies are microchipped, on monthly prevention, have been dewormed, and are up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations for an adoption fee of $450. $50 will be refunded after proof of age appropriate spay/neuter. This litter are KENNEL CLUB REGISTERED LHASA APSO. They will be leaving to go to their new owners with KC Reg paperwork. They are not mixed with any other breed. Parents of mum are eye tested PRA CLEAR (which can be shown on her KC REG paperwork). Puppies are being brought up in the comfort of my home and have so much love and care around the clock. Puppies mum is a beautiful, gentle, loving little girl with a wonderful calming temperament. She’s friendly to anyone she meets and she loves other dogs, people and especially children. She is an amazing devoted mum to the puppies already. Dad of puppies is a real gem, KC registered and also has a wonderful temperament. I would like to find homes for these puppies with people who can provide them a loving home as part of their family. They’re such wonderful breeds and are great for companionship or for families with children. Also this breed is hypoallergenic so they do not shed hair. So they’re great with people who have allergies. Puppies will be well socialised, used to all household noises and leave my home provided with the upmost care and so much love.
