Meet Cola – Your Loyal Companion Awaits! Hi, I'm Cola, a sweet and smart German Shepherd who’s been waiting for the perfect family to call my own. I've been in the shelter for a while now, and while the staff here are kind, I know I’d really thrive in a loving home where I can feel safe and cherished. I’m looking for a patient, experienced owner who understands the needs of a breed like me—one that’s loyal, intelligent, and, yes, sometimes a bit independent. I’d do best in a home with kids over the age of 6, as I can get a little nervous around younger children. I love people and enjoy spending time with them, but I need someone who is home more often than not—long hours alone aren’t really my thing, and I might get a little anxious when left for too long, but this is something we can work on together in your home! I do need some ongoing training and guidance as I adjust to life in a home. I’m a smart girl, but I’m still learning how to trust and settle in fully. With the right person who is willing to help me grow and learn, I know I can flourish and be the best companion ever! I’m also not a fan of sharing my space with other dogs, so I would be happiest as the only dog in the home. If you’ve had experience with dogs before and are looking for a loyal, devoted friend to be your partner in life, I might just be the one for you.
