This sweetheart is a maltipoo estimated to be 2-4 yrs old. She was adopted out from us a few months back & sadly returned due to NO FAULT of her own. We are looking for a MATURE stable home to give this dog the commitment & security that she has been long awaiting! Here's her background story:
She was originally surrendered last year by a woman living in a trailer park. She said the dog had been passed on from person to person however many times that her name got lost in translation. The last owner surrendered her when it was her time to move, and she said "I dont know her name but I've been calling her Dilly". She learned to respond to that name.
Little Dilly was living with a couple other dogs in the trailer park home. She was a tad defensive when she first came to the rescue & did show her teeth to the first few dogs she met, but after settling in she played with the same dogs without aggression. She's a very quiet, well behaved girl. Crate trained, potty trained, content dog. Weighs about 10lbs. We got her up to date & spayed & adopted out in February. She went to her new home & did need some correction to get the idea of potty training in a new space but otherwise did very well. The owner changed her name to Vixy.
Unfortunately the new owner fell into financial distress & had to relinquish ownership of his dogs. His aunt agreed to take in the older dog he owned and Vixy came back to us. This dog is a wonderful companion with no bad habits! She will probably require a bit of potty training when she goes to a new home again, since the moving seems to be taking its toll on her.
She is currently open for meet & greets. Adoption fee for Vixy is $400 which goes as a donation to the rescue to help with major expanding that we are working on to help future pets. If you are interested please send a message with some information about your home environment.
