Minnie is anything but Minnie. This pup is too cool for school, and fluffier than any dog you (and us!) have probably ever met.
Minnie still has her puppy teeth with some adults coming in, therefore she is estimated to be about 16-18 weeks old and growing fast. She currently weighs about 35 lbs and we estimate based on her current size, she will be reaching close to 100 lbs or over when full grown. If her weight doesn’t show her size, the fluffy hair will definitely make her look like a stampede of sheep running at you.
This gorgeous girl turns heads when the foster is walking her. Minnie has done wonderful on the leash and is learning how to walk properly on it.
Grooming is no joke with her. She will need constant and consistent grooming as her hair will change, but more-so always be a battle.
Minnie does not answer to her name, so you can change it once adopted.
We introduced Minnie to cats at both foster homes she’s been at, and both times, despite her high energy, she did very good with them. Neither foster was worried for their cats, and we believe she can live very happily with cats in the home.
Minnie is VERY energetic. She is a high energy, very playful girl that needs a very active home. We think she was abandoned for this reason, as most people we don’t believe would understand what it entails to commit to a pup like Minnie.
She has so much built up energy, and with the right home, she can be the most amazing girl. She has met children but we would not recommend her with super young ones as she is so spunky and rambunctious, she could accidentally hurt one without realizing it due to her size.
Minnie is SMART. Probably too smart for her own good. She is curious and notices everything happening around her. She is the first to try something just to see if she can get away with it or not. But she learns quickly when she can’t get away with it.
She is mostly house trained and has not had any accidents in a while.
Minnie was found with 3 other dogs, Mitzi, Millie and Murphy. She gets along great with them and all dogs she has met. She would thrive with another dog in the home that she can get her energy out with. If no other dogs in the home, we do strongly recommend doggy daycare or something of the sort to allow her to play and romp around with other dogs.
A perfect home for Minnie would be one that understands she needs tons of exercise, tons of play time, constant grooming, years of love, kisses and companionship.

We process applications as they arrive in our inbox. Especially for highly adoptable dogs, we strongly suggest you fill out an application as soon as possible as we can receive quite a few per animal, but only can choose one application.
If you submit an inquiry that questions something answered in this bio, we will not respond due to high volume of inquiries.
ALL OF OUR ANIMALS ARE LOCATED IN SOUTH TEXAS. They are posted in areas where we transport to ONCE ADOPTED.
95% of our animals are pre adopted prior to transport, if you want to do a meet and greet with an animal in person we suggest going to a local shelter as we probably will not be able to offer that. We do sometimes have animals located in certain areas and if that is the case, it will be at the top of their profile BIO.
Once approved though us, we will put you in contact with the foster family that has your animal to learn more about them!
We transport every few weeks, it just depends on vetting and transport companies.
Application turn around is usually about 1-3 days max, if not sooner. After you submit an application and want to send additional information or pictures of current animals/past ones in a separate email, we love that and it always helps your chances :)
