This sweet little baby is Jerry Cherry Garcia! Jerry is just a couple of months old and we think he is a chihuahua mix, but with rescue it's always best guess. Jerry get's along great with other dogs, but has not been around cats or kids before. He enjoys playing with his siblings, having fun with toys, and being pet and loved on by his foster mama. He does well in the car, and will be a fun little co-pilot to take around town on errands, or on your nature outings! Raising puppies is hard work, and Jerry's family should expect that they will need to continue with his potty and crate training, socialization, leash training, and all of the things he will need to be a well adjusted, happy adult dog. Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. The adoption fee is $825.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations.
