Sapphire is a 4.5 year old spayed female Maltese mix who weighs 11.5 lbs. Sapphire came to All 4 Paws from a commercial kennel after she was retired from breeding. This loving mama is ready to be spoiled and pampered as a cherished family member! She settled pretty quickly into her foster home and loves to get attention from her people. Though she is still a little timid still, Sapphire is gaining confidence every day. She loves pets and wags her tail every time she sees you. She loves to be held and is definitely a lap dog. Sapphire is sharing her foster home with cats and other dogs and gets along great with everyone. A home with a resident dog would be ideal for her since she has always lived with others. Overall a quieter environment will be best as she still gets scared sometimes. Sapphire is crate trained, doing well with her house training, and easy going. If you are looking for an affectionate companion, look no further than Sapphire! We adore this silly/sweet princess and can't wait to watch her flourish in her forever home... could that be yours??
