BIOGRAPHY
Hi, my name is Brandy. I would love a fur-ever family to love me. I’m a super sweet girl but very timid. After being surrendered by a puppy mill in Ohio, I came to Columbus to live with my foster family. I was afraid of everything at first, and I didn’t understand what it meant to live inside with a family or how to be a dog. My foster parents said I’m an intelligent girl. My foster brothers and sisters here taught me how to potty outside (I am still working on it). I am still working on leash walking. I respond well to positive reinforcement, praise, and treats. I love playing with other dogs! I respect other dogs, and my foster dad said I don’t have a mean bone in my body. I’m still very shy and scared of new people. When my foster parents leave the house, I’m quiet and nap with the other dogs. I’m good with the car, too. I am fully vetted and I’m so good at taking my insulin shots. I take 7.5mL every 12 hours. Now that my diabetes is managed, I am ready to find a wonderful and loving home.
