It's all fun and "GAMES" until a litter of 10 puppies are born to survive all alone outside! Checkers and his 9 other siblings were found with their momma at a house that was next to a highway! Mind you this house also had no fence, so they were so close to being run over! Luckily Checker's foster found them all and rescued them!
Here is what we know about Checkers and his littermates!
- A DNA test was done on one of the siblings, and his top 5 breeds are:
34% Great Pyrenees, 11% American Pit Terrier, 7% Lab, 5% GSD, 5% Tree Walking Coonhound. He is expected to be a big boy once fully grown!
- He is currently 25lbs and is now neutered!
- They are about 3 months old now! They are super sweet, and growing into their personalities. They are not house or crate trained, so a patient owner would be best for Checkers and his sibs! These pups will do well in an active home with kids over 8 years old. A fenced in yard would be great for Checkers, however it's not a deal breaker!
Is Checkers the one for you? He's got his bags packed and she's looking for his fur-ever home!
(Checkers is one of 3 remaining pups from this litter. His two siblings, Clue (boy) and Yahtzee (girl) are currently available for adoption.
Feel free to reach out to Amie,
[email protected] with any questions or to request to fill out an application. His adoption fee is $500.
