It can take a lifetime of experience to teach people what the most essential - and best - things in life are. Good food. A comfortable place to rest. Smelling the flowers, savoring the feel of a warm sunbeam. And, above all, being with loved ones.

Or it can take a Sissy.

Sissy is content with the simple pleasures of life. She loves relaxing on her bed and will just enjoy her time there, going to her water bowl when she gets thirsty. She enjoys cuddling sessions. She relishes her rides in a stroller on warm days, sniffing the breeze. When her foster family goes on a road trip, she enjoys the car ride; she is an excellent traveler. When the four dogs in her foster home are playing around her, she likes just being near them. And oh yes, she loves her meals and her treats!

She communicates well with her humans. If she needs something - food, a water bowl refill, to go out for potty - she barks. She will also signal if she needs something during a car ride.

This sweet, calm, laid back girl experiences life with her nose and her heart. She is mostly blind and deaf. Her fosters say she has mapped her areas in their home and has her favorite spot there.

Because she is not able to see or hear when her humans are not around to respond to her barking cues, she would do best in a home where someone is home most of the day. Sissy has so much to offer in exchange. Love. Cuddles. And reminders of what is truly important. Will she be your reminder? Will you be her soft landing?

Gets Along With: Sissy currently lives with dogs and does well. She hasn't been seen with cats. Because children might not remember to be calm around Sissy, we do not recommend her for a home with kids under the age of 12.

Meet our adorable, adoptable babies, Oliver, Olena, Oren and Opal. They are all between 5-8 pounds and currently 7 weeks old. They will be available to leave with adoptive families once they turn 8 weeks. These babies were turned in to an overcrowded, rural shelter without a momma at 5-6 weeks of age. Like typical puppies, they are still learning all of the basics!

We are looking for committed adopters, willing to take out routinely for potty breaks, who will use positive reinforcement training techniques, and willing to make lifetime commitments.

The puppies are microchipped, on monthly prevention, have been dewormed, and are up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations for an adoption fee of $450. $50 will be refunded after proof of age appropriate spay/neuter.

Blaze is a stunning and precious puppy who can't wait to find a family of his own!

His mom was pregnant when she walked up onto a business owner's property in Texas, where kind-hearted people there fed her. She decided that business was her safe spot to birth 16 puppies! She was such a good mother to all, that all 16 survived are fat and healthy.

The business owner did a great job of keeping this family safe, and reached out to rescues to help find the puppies families of their own. Although the puppies are still in Texas, we transport puppies to approved adopters every month on the East and West Coast, as well as areas in-between.

Blaze enjoys playing with his brothers and sisters, but he can't wait to find his own family to make him feel special and to give him more individual attention.

**Note - R2H enforces a strict spay/neuter policy. All pets adopted from R2H must be spay/neutered. An additional spay/neuter deposit applies to all pets that are adopted prior to being altered.
