Summer Camp!!
Kendall is one lucky pup! She is attending Camp Doglando - a fabulous summer camp for kids and rescue dogs. Dogs are learning basic obedience, crate training, socialization and so much more! Sierra and her daughter, Leah, were recently released from a breeding facility in upstate NY. Sierra is a bit shy and has some of the typical behaviors of a commercial breeding dog. She is settling into her foster home well and is coming more and more out of her shell everyday. Sierra and Leah will be adopted together as they are bonded. This dog is currently being fostered in the Finger Lakes areas of NY and cannot travel prior to adoption. Meet and greets available in the surrounding area only. Visitors welcome.

PLEASE NOTE: Unless otherwise written, all of our puppy mill survivors will require a secure fenced yard, another small dog in the home, and an experienced owner. Dogs rescued from puppy mills will have started to learn but cannot be expected to be fully potty trained at time of adoption.

Through no fault of his own, Milo is back in the loving, caring hands of our director and foster. Unfortunately the previous adopters life became overwhelming and could no longer care for Milo in the lifestyle he deserves. Do to excessive matting he was shaved down, we did our best to keep as much of his beautiful coat as we could. We have included photos of him with his hair grown out a bit. It won’t take long for him to be the handsomest guy around.

Howdy Rescue world!!! I’m Milo, a Shih Tzu mix, who's thought to be about 11-12 years old, a senior, and all of 11 lbs. I am in search of a quiet, laid back, loving adult home to spend my golden years in, I don’t require much, a roof over my head, a human or two that will pamper me with good food, some gentle cuddles and help me get outside to do my business. I am working on my house manners, If you take me out frequently, I do my business outside. I do have cataracts and have lost some of my vision, but my nose works real good especially when there's food involved, I'm right there! I LOVE the outdoors, if my new home would have a grassy space, I will wonder around for a good bit of time and lay in the shade to enjoy the Florida sunshine… As for walks, I love to ride around with my foster mom as she walks the other pups in the house, She has this cool thing called a “sling”, I get to hang out and get carried around. My nose works overtime on these fresh outdoor walks. Do you think I might be the guy for you? I sure hope so! No kids (sorry) and no other animals. He is the king of his castle.
Retired couple or man that will allow him to settle in and not rush him, he is shy at first but does come around.

Adopt a dog:Milly/Terrier/Female/Baby,Silly Milly ! This young female is approx 10 weeks old and weighs 6 lbs. She is likely a terrier mix with scruffy hair. She is very affectionate, sweet and super playful. She came to us in poor condition from the Valley. But she's in great shape now and ready to find her forever home. She would do well in a home with another canine companion or someone home much of the day. A fenced yard is required. No swimming pools. Due to her small size and sharp puppy teeth, children over 8 years of age preferred.

Mily's adoption fee of $350 includes vet exam, age appropriate vaccinations up to the point of adoption, fecal test, wormer, spay and microchip. The adoption fee goes directly towards vet care bills, food, supplies, etc. for our rescue dogs as we are an entirely volunteer-based organization.
