This 3 year old red nose pitty named Lily (formerly known as Little Bit) was rescued 6 months ago from a trailer that was set on fire after her drug dealer of an owner committed suicide and she stood by his side for days. Luckily she got out just in time and only suffered from smoke inhalation. As if that wasn’t enough, the homeless woman who got her out of the trailer tied her up and did the best she could but unfortunately Lily was scared and escaped. She was found beaten and stabbed twice in front of a dollar store 3 days later.
You can’t make this up …
She SURVIVED! And after 2 weeks in intensive care at the shelter vet we came for her and brought her to safety. Her story baffles me. Every time she looks up at you with her bright smile and her tail wagging I’m at a loss for how she still loves everyone she meets. She’s too good for this world and that’s why we’re setting the bar quite high for the home that takes her in.
She deserves the world on a platter and we’re not going to stop until we find her soul mate that will give her that.
She loves to snuggle. She has the sweetest little bark that sounds like a seal. She loves to go on walks but is a strong girl. She’s still nervous around other dogs so we want her to be the only animal in the house. She loves to give slobbery kisses on the face. She’s sensitive and very connected to her people. She’s loyal (need we remind you of her story of siting by her owner). She loves kids and lights up around them. She’s a perfect mix of couch potato and long walks buddy. Her most prized possession is a purple toy and she takes it with her into every room she goes into.
She’s around 3 years old, mellow and affectionate, playful. Up to date on shots and spayed. We’re looking for her to be the only animal in the home because she had been attacked by other dogs.
