Crispin is a very sweet, friendly, quiet and gentle young 1 year old. At just 30 lbs he would do well in a home with a yard and equally well in an apartment or townhouse with regular walks during the day. He greets all people and dogs in a friendly cheerful way, and enjoys having walks multiple times during the day. Currently one of his legs is recovering and resting from a previous injury (wrapped and semi-rested) so non-vigorous activity is the doctor's order until he is fully healed. Once he is released for full activity, he will make someone a fine hiking and walking partner. He is a good boy, very smart and eager to please. His home and people MUST be experienced in bolters, as he is a bit of an escape artist, so will take full advantage of any open doors to the outside world which can get him into lots of trouble. Once he feels confident and safe and knows his new permanent home is HOME, it is hopeful this escape instinct will subside, but potential adopters must adhere to super safety for a long while. Older children in the home, who can stick to the safety rules, would be fine.
