Harley is a seven-year-old American Eskimo female, who came to rescue from a puppy mill in Ohio. This girl is the sweetest, purest soul and it shows in her eyes as she looks at you. No bad bone in her body. She is steadily gaining confidence in herself and showing an inclination towards play while outside. She knows basic commands-sit and down, but readily offers her paw and will give kisses. It does take time for her to open up, but once she does, she is a sweetheart.
She is not yet interested in toys, but will chew on buffalo horns and deer antlers, loves treats, and just wants to please.
She needs work on her leash training and has figured out how to get collars off, so a home with a fenced yard is MANDATORY. No apartment life for her.
Harley is house-trained and crate-trained and is food motivated.
She needs a quiet home with very understanding and calm people that will respect her space and trusting curve.
She would not do well in a house with children due to their activity levels.
SHE GETS CAR SICK AND IS A FLIGHT RISK....so adoptions have to be within 2 to 3 hours of Cincinnati for her safety.
