OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information. All our dogs are fostered in Texas but available for transport out of state. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts Galore Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). Our out of state adoption fee is $300 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, a heartworm test if over 6 months old, and health certificate.

Shadow does not like to play with our foster sister as much as I do. I am still learning what I can and cannot chew on and trying to get a hang of this house training thing. I do go potty outside pretty often but I also use potty pads and have accidents around the house. I play hard and nap hard but overall tend to be a little bit more chill than Shadow. I cry when I am left in my puppy pen but typically settle down after a little while. They say my mom was a lab/pit mix and my dad was a small German Shepherd. I would love to meet you and become your next best friend!

They are now almost 9 weeks old and ready for their forever family! We truly have no idea what these pups are mixed with. Some have short legs and looks like low riders. Some are double their sibling’s size. All we know is they’re 100% adorable!

My name is Zombie, and I'm a 7 1/2 year old little yorkie-bichon mix that's looking for a new home in the Richmond, Virginia metropolitan area. My owner's living situation and work schedule has changed so we're not able to spend as much time as I'd like together. I've been with my family since I was a little girl, and I can tell you I've lived a charmed life and have wanted for nothing. Even though I'm a little terrier and we're characteristically energetic, I have a lot of moments where I'm very calm. Sure, I like to walk on a leash, but I also like to chill on my bed! I'm looking for a calm home where someone can take me on walks, and we can spend our down-time watching television or just resting. I'm really a super companion! I ride well in a car, will sleep on the bed with you (in my own space, of course!), and I'm usually good with other dogs after an introductory period. I've not been around cats, but I suspect that I'd be okay with them once I acclimated to them. Oh, and did I mention that I don't mind being bathed and enjoy being groomed? Heartworm treatment consists of 3 injections in the dogs back. Felix's first injection will be in roughly 30 days, and the 2nd and 3rd injections happen 30 days after that. When a dog is going through heartworm treatment, they should be on "restrictions", meaning a lot of lap time, crate time and always on a leash. Heartworm disease is NOT contagious, it is transported via mosquitos.
