Dogs are welcome to join their humans on an exploration of the great outdoors in Shoshone National Forest. The national forest features more than 1,300 miles of trails, 11 picnic sites, and 4 scenic byways which travel throughout the forest and offers outstanding views of the mountain peaks, glaciers, streams, rivers, plateaus, and more. Dogs must be leashed in developed recreation sites. While in the backcountry, please be considerate of others and have your pet either on leash or well-trained to verbal control.
