Howarth Park has a great, long beach area to take your dog. At low tide, the sand stretches out forever with plenty of room for you and pooch to run around, or just bring a picnic and get some sun! Check the tide reports before going to ensure ultimate beach bliss, and park up top for a fun little hike down to the water in this lush little 28 acre park. Unfortunately, not the entire park is off leash, just the beach area, but other areas of the park include picnic/bbq facilities, trails, a playground, tennis courts, restrooms, fishing, and salt-water access.
