Your leashed pet is welcome to join you as you enjoy this lovely Austin park. You and Fido can enjoy walking or biking on the 10-mile Lady Bird Hike and Bike Trail or get out on Lady Bird Lake in a kayak or canoe or on a stand-up paddleboard. Although the Barton Springs Pool isn't pet-friendly, dogs can often romp in the water downstream from the pool. During hours when the park is less busy, dogs are often permitted on the park's train, too. Dogs must be leashed at all times.
