Lots of dog owners bring their dogs to Highland Park to walk the paths or follow the trails through the woods. There are a lot of old healthy trees that provide a nice canopy to allow some sunlight to provide warmth for us, but not so much that our dog overheats. If he does, there are dog friendly fountains spaced throughout for a refreshing splash in the summer.
