Bow Wow Beach offers a 7 1/2 acre fenced in dog park surrounding a 5 acre lake. There are both beaches and grassy areas, sunny spots and shade, as well as a small dog section for the wee pooches. The city of Stow is safe and the faciltiy is well cared for. Pet waste stations are located througout, as are some benches. There are a set of gates to get into the park thus preventing any escapees or over sealous dogs from entering without thier owner. Another nice feature is the large wash basin and hose located at the entrance/exit. This helps greatly to clean off your dog after he has been rolling around in the sand for 6 hours. The whole "vibe" of the place is happy and uplifting, and with its large size, even on Saturdays you dont feel overcrowded - there is plenty of room for everyone - owners and furpals alike. All this, and it is free too!
