This is a great hike located on the backside of the Sandia Mountains. It's a short 15-30 minute drive from the beautiful city of Albuquerque. This trail is a beginner/intermediate level hike(some steep hills) and puppy friendly! The whole hike leads to the Sandia Crest, or spend a few hours looking for fossils(on the trail of course), and head back down! A great way to spend the morning, afternoon, or day with the people and puppies you love most. Make sure to bring water in your car as there is no potable water nearby.
