A large tract of land that was once the original settlement of Milford. There are large open hay fields with paths as well as a network of trails through the woods. In the woods are various cellar holes from the original homesteads, as well as markers giving a short history of the people who lived there. At the furthest point of some trails is a large marsh with heron roosts. The descendant of one of the settlers still owns a home, and is the caretaker, and, when he is there can show the inside of the remaining home.
Dogs need to be in owner control, but can run off lead. My dog loves every inch of the place.
