Fox Ridge State Park is pet-friendly. This 2,064-acre park is home to eight miles of scenic hiking trails that will take you up steep, thickly wooded ridges and through scenic valleys. One of the most popular things to do is to wander up the staircase to Eagle's Nest, leading to a deck overlooking the river that is best seen during Fall. The ten trails in the system will lead you to a number of pretty picnic areas dotted around the park. Fox Ridge State Park is open every day of the week from 7am to 5pm.
