Lake Walcott is pet-friendly. You can bring Fido with you to enjoy the picturesque surroundings of the park, including a grassy, shaded day-use area that is hugely popular among picnickers. As long as Fido doesn't chase your disc, you can try a few holes of disc golf at the 21-hole course that is found adjacent to the lake. Unfortunately, pets are not permitted to go in the water on a hot day to cool down. If you're staying on dry land, take a look up to the sky and enjoy some of the best bird watching opportunities in southern Idaho.
