Hells Gate State Park is dog-friendly. This park is located at the Snake River's downstream entrance to Hells Canyon, which is the deepest canyon in North America. The park is situated at the lowest elevation in Idaho, which gives it the name, Idaho's Banana Belt. Fido isn't welcome next to the river or in the water, but they can join you on any of the trails that weave around the picturesque canyon floor. Hells Gate is open every day of the week from 8:00am until 8:30pm.
