Bring Fido to the Makaha Beach Park to explore the areas below the high-tide line. The Beach Park boasts white sand and beautiful mountain views. Dogs are allowed on the ocean side of the debris line, which is often marked by seaweed. Dog owners should keep their dog on a leash at all times, pick up after their pet, make sure they get plenty of water and shade and ensure that they wear their county-issued license.
