Platte River Greenway Trail is a 6.8 mile hike in Adams County that will take about 5 hours to complete with Fido. This trail will take you through what used to be the agricultural center of Denver. There are still some smaller working farms. The trail follows the river and there are sandbars along the way that connect to sandy beaches.
