The Blue Lake Trail is a 9-mile hike in Roosevelt National Forest that will take about 7 hours to complete with Fido. The trailhead is located just past Chambers Lake in a beautiful canyon, which (along with the Spruce trees) creates lots of shade along the entire trail.
