Mountain High Outfitters has what you need to be outdoors including camping equipment, hiking gear, and apparel. There are several locations around Birmingjam and throughout Alabama, but this location is also in an outdoor shopping center with Hollywood Feed (a pet store) and 3 restaurants with outdoor seating. The Mountain High Outfitters in Birmingham are rather tight with gear, so while dog size isn't a worry, make sure your leashed dog is well behaved before entering.
