These parks are located on either side of Brookwood Village shopping center. To get to Jemison 3.25 miles distance of cement/gravel path you will head toward mountain brook and park along the road. That trail has several spots for your pet to take a dip in the creek and stop to greet other friends as joggers make their way past. The lakeshore parkway 5 miles paved bike/jogging path head toward stamford from the target end of the mall. There are less clean parks of the creek for your pet to take dip, but its a great trail that is fairly shaded, but not as shaded as Jemison. There is parking on either end of the Lakeshore Trail with a drinking fountain to start on either end of the path. Excellent jog. The drinking fountains are for humans, not dogs, but plenty of trash cans and Jemison has doggie poop bags for responsible owners.
