The cabin is across the street from the lake (across the street is private property). Nearest lake access is Little Sand bay beach a few miles away. There is also Meyer's beach, Cornucopia, Bayfield, and Madeline Island. The cabin is surrounded by birch, maple, and pine trees as has a large wrap-around deck overlooking the ravine. Nature views from each window. Wildlife abounds. You might see a bald eagle, deer, fox, or occasional black bear. In the winter season - use the remote control to light the pine trees up in back with holiday lights that you can view from the bedroom - or light up the front railing -- all with little white lights to create something like a Currier and Ives post card type feel.
