Vinegar Hill Music Theatre and Lucky Pup Rescue are excited to announce that they're joining of forces to create a new holiday experience and fundraiser on Prelude weekend. The weekend will offer lots of fun holiday activities and events for all family members -including the furry kind! The anchor event for Santa Paws Fest will be the highly anticipated third year of the Adopt-a-Tree Festival. There will also be lots of opportunities to celebrate the pets in your life and to raise awareness and financial support for the canine friends at Lucky Pup Rescue.
The Adopt-a-Tree Festival, now in its third year, is a wonderful weekend of trees and wreaths beautifully decorated by local businesses and supporters. The event culminates with each tree and wreath going home with a new family, just like Lucky Pup Rescue’s mission of matching dogs in need with their forever families. This year, the Adopt-a-Tree festival expands, adding a full array of activities and events for locals and visitors to enjoy.
This year’s inaugural activities will also include pet pictures with Santa Paws/Claus, decorating gingerbread dogs, holiday face painting, live music, a hot cocoa and cider station and wreath Making. Lucky Pup will offer educational opportunities through their “Awareness Station,” which will feature adoptable dogs, literature on rescue needs and opportunities to sponsor a holiday gift for a Lucky Pup in foster care. There will also be opportunities for shopping for the pet lover in your life, with the annual Lucky Pup calendar and a new commemorative ornament celebrating this year’s event sold on-site.
