My name is Chiclet and I am a 5.4 pound, 3 year old female Chihuahua/Terrier mix looking for my forever home. I am a bashful little gal and may always be more on the shy side, however I don't have a mean bone in my body and will let you scoop me up right away. I love to be by your side and get snuggles! My favorite activities include being held, burrowing in my comfy bed, hanging out around my doggy friends, and going for short walks. Since I am such a scared little pup, at this time I am considered a flight risk and will need to be supervised when doors are open and when I'm in a fenced in yard. I am a laid back pooch and would do best in a home with someone who is in a more quiet environment, and where there isn't a ton of activity going on all of the time. The staff here describes me as adorable, loving, quiet, shy, easy-going, friendly, snuggly, and best of all... lovable! I get along well with other dogs, however I have not yet been tested around cats or kids at this time. She is very smart and learns her limits quickly. Medical: Ginger Spice is a healthy girl. She just needs her flea and heartworm preventative, like any dog. Other Animals: Ginger Spice is good with other small dogs and even cats! Children: Gentle, patient Ginger is good with children of all ages. Home: Ginger Spice would do okay in an apartment or town home because she is quiet, but would definitely require outdoor time. Grooming: As a Poodle, Ginger Spice will require regular brushing plus professional grooming about every 6-8 weeks. Overall: Ginger Spice will be a wonderful, cuddly companion for a lucky family who can give her all the adoration she deserves.
