Johnnie is a minibernedoodle puppy now 8 weeks old who, together with his siblings arrived very unexpectedly at our rescue from a lovely mom who was surrendered to us for adoption. All of the puppies have been gentle, moderately outgoing, easy puppies as is their mom and are now (almost) old enough to leave their siblings and head out into the world. The expected adult weight is approx. 45 lbs.
Specific requirements for our puppies include:
A securely fenced in yard
A human home frequently during the day
No toddlers in the home
No large or aggressive dogs
Experience with raising a puppy is a BIG plus.
Johnnie will be ready for his new home starting on 8/13 at 9 weeks of age. He has been vet examined, vaccinated with an initial vaccine, and wormed. He will be vaccinated a second time and microchipped on 8/9.
Our adoption fee is $450.00 plus a $150 full refundable neutering fee if proof of neutering is received within NYS guidelines.

Once we receive an approved application we will contact you for a telephone conversation which is then followed by a meet/greet, a home visit and a call to your veterinarian. Applicants must reside within a 50 mile radius of Ithaca, NY.
