He walks well on leash with a small harness, is house trained and has learned the pet door quickly. His foster reports good with other pets small and encourages his human servant to pet him often! He enjoys car rides, soft toys and burying his head under the covers while snuggling on the sofa! He takes a small dose of anxiety medication which started when his previous owner had medical issues and moved to assisted senior living. Since then, I have been thriving and not looking back and I am now ready to find my Furever home. Things my foster mom thinks you should know about me: I am timid and loud sounds scare me. I spent some time very hungry, searching for food so I get excited when I see food, and sometimes I will swipe it off the counter if it’s within reach. Strangers, especially strange dogs, scare me when they approach me. This should always be a delicate and thoughtful approach when you want me to meet new people and animals. I am scared of children and would not do well in a home with them. In fact, I prefer more mature parent(s) that will be patient and understanding of my needs. I absolutely love cuddles and snuggles. I like the comfort of my crate and I often can be found hoarding squeaky toys in my crate. I am highly motivated by food, and affection. I love to explore outdoors and have learned that leash walking is fun as well. I enjoy car rides, and the car rides that result in getting a pup cup are my favorite. I don’t jump on furniture, but am happy to be on the furniture if you help me up. If you like to snuggle in bed, I AM YOUR GUY!!! I have several foster brothers and a sister but prefer to be an only child or one of 2 (dogs) in the house. I am not going to be the alpha dog, and should not have an aggressive alpha as a sibling. I am easily intimidated, and become uncomfortable. Cats are cool, they don’t phase me at all. A home with it's own fenced yard is required as dog park environments are not desired. Caramel is one of Lola’s babies. Lola came to us from a high kill shelter after both she and her sister were surrendered pregnant at Christmas time. Our vet believes that Lola mom is a Vizsla mix. We also see Weimaraner and Labrador in this litter. Date of Birth: December 30, 2022 All of Lola’s puppies are friendly, happy, and outgoing. All of the babies are up to date on age appropriate vet care and have been examined by our local veterinary. All of the puppies have a clean bill of health.
