Brielle has been wonderful with every human as young as 5 that she has encountered. We attempted to have her meet our pup at home, but he was a bit much for her. I bet if she has time to warm up to a dog though she'd do okay, but she'll have to be the judge of that. She has had no time with any cats so who knows if she'll like living with those, but they are kind of like puppies, so you never know! She is as sweet as they come and will give you more love than you'll know what to do with. She aims to please and will do anything for a treat, or even just some plain dog food. We don't know much about her past but her worn down teeth and her malnourished body that she came to us with tell us she spent some time on the streets of Mississippi before finding her way to us with her 8 precious puppies in cargo. She loves to sit and watch out the window and loves to snuggle up with you. She has been great with her babies playing and teaching them the ways of the world. She walks well on a leash and is working on learning some basic commands. She has learned sit in just the few short weeks we've had her and she's working on lay and off. She would do best in a household that has someone who can devote time to her as she's been neglected for however long and she longs to be near her humans as much as she can be. There is no doubt that she will make a great addition to any family that chooses her to be their forever pet. Please submit an application at http://helpinghoundsdogrescue.org Visit our dogs at the Rescue!
