Rawley was found wandering the streets in Central California, a very sweet, shy and gentle little boy alone in the big big world. He is acclimating to life being loved and takes a little bit of time warming up, but as soon as he feels he is in safe hands he is fine. He may be cautious with strangers, but small quiet steps toward affection and closeness will win his heart. He is 8 yrs, has no health issues, and would really enjoy a quiet home with his favorite person, with a warm friendly lap or couch where he can just be next to them and be quite content. He will be a little timid on day one but will acclimate quickly within the first 24-48 hours once he knows he is home with people he can trust, ready to follow his favorite person around the home. He's a very quiet, obedient boy who wants to please and has been using a crate when alone and overnight with no problem. He would do well as someone's perfect buddy, whether it’s in a house, apartment or condo, as long as there is a private area or quiet street for his potty breaks. Rawley may not have been over loved before but he sure is ready for that loving home now and, at just 6 lbs, will be a devoted tiny companion. We think he would be happiest as the only dog in the home. He is not a big walker or hiker. Rawley is good with cats, and children over 10 yrs in the home would be okay.
