Aria is an amazing dog who loves to cuddle and be loved. She is an energetic dog but with a good walk early in the day, she will be able to easily burn off a lot of that energy and be pretty calm for the rest of the day. At the beginning of an exciting situation like the beginning of play time, being let out of crate or having human visitors inside the house, she can hype herself up quickly but will settle down within couple minutes. She loves being petted, giving kisses, and cuddles on the couch. When excited, she may start off a bit mouthy but easily takes correction and can be redirected to one of her toys as she snuggles next to her people.
Aria will benefit the most from a home who will work on her manners so she doesn't get jumpy to say hi. She is extremely food motivated and eager to please so training her should come naturally. She is crate and house trained and can easily spend time in her crate. After a good walk in the morning, she will spend most of the day a lot more mellow inside the house. When interacted with, she will quickly turn on and be ready to play but; when left alone, she will either nap on the couch or play with her own toys. She hasn't shown any signs of being destructive to home furnitures and understands that her toys are there for her to chew on. She walks well on a leash with a slight tendency to pull but responds extremely well to training collars. She enjoys greeting other dogs during walks and behaves well around them on the leash.
Aria does not like to share food, so should be fed separately from other dogs, but she is happy to share water and toys. She's been great with kids of all ages but with her high energy, and needing to learn more manners, she would do better with older kids. Aria is ready for her forever snuggle buddy!
