MY STORY: Do you like adventure and want a partner to share your activities? Meet Oreo, our year and a half year old Border Collie who has enough energy to follow you on all of your walks, runs or travels!! This beautiful purebred dog will play fetch (and drop the ball at your feet) until your rotator cuff begins to tear!! Oreo will 'High Five' you for a treat and he knows other tricks and commands. Oreo is ready to learn more, but he needs a teacher and human companion to do that! Oreo craves attention (your full attention) and he is completely dedicated to pleasing his human! Oreo is tender hearted and needs patience as he learns what you want from him. Timid at first, he quickly warms up to you once he understands and trusts you. He is loyal and loves cuddling up. Did we mention how SMART Oreo is??? Oreo needs to be the only dog in the household, and an understanding of this breed is required for a successful match with his new family. Oreo needs to be in a home (no apartment/condo) with a fenced in yard. If you are interested in meeting Oreo, call Lexi at the shelter to arrange a meet/greet. And you may apply to adopt Oreo by going to www.raccoonriverpetrescue.com Oreo is altered, microchipped and vaccinated. (NOT suitable for an apartment) (Fenced in yard REQUIRED) He is currently accepting adoption applications.
