Oh sweet Stella, the stories you could tell. At only 1 year old, this English Mastiff lady has already been rescued from a hoarding situation, spent time at a local SPCA, adopted out, and then surrendered to BDHP because they were unable to provide her with what she needed to be successful. Stella is understandably confused by all the changes, and without much love as a pup, a little behind in confidence and maturity. She is a typical puppy that like to chew and dig on occasion, adores beef-flavored Nylabones - who doesn't love beef, right - and is eager to please. Stella is house trained, good with other dogs w/proper intros, knows the commands sit and stay, and loves a nap on the couch & car rides. Her foster family will continue her education towards being an awesome house dog through crate training, further obedience, socialization and environmental management. Because of her history, Stella does have some barrier and leash reactivity, but BDHP will do everything we can to help her feel less stressed. She would do best in a behavior savvy home with a 6 foot privacy fence. Stella cannot wait to get adopted and she hopes it'll happen soon. Please think about giving this girl a safe, happy, and patient home to call her own forever.
