Benny is a handsome Pyr boy looking for his Pyrfect furever home! Benny is housetrained and does fairly well on a leash. He knows most basic commands, and in typical Pyr fashion, he listens to them when he feels like it :) There’s two things Benny loves...his humans and his food! He’s not crazy about the idea of sharing either of them. Benny has gotten along with other dogs in the past, except for when food or human attention is involved. Benny is looking for a patient family, that understands him and will put him in a position to succeed in these situations. Benny is a typical Pyr in that his main purpose for being on this earth is to protect. He is on high alert for any incoming threats. Benny loves belly rubs and cuddles. He was shaved due to matting but his gorgeous coat will grow back again soon. He loves playing fetch in his yard, even if he isn’t the most graceful. Despite his clumsiness, Benny will impress you with his unfailing ability to catch a flying piece of food in his mouth! Benny desires love more than anything else in life and he promises to not let you down. He’s looking for the same commitment from his new humans. If you are the family that can commit to helping Benny live up to his full pawtential, apply for this sweet, loving, goofy boy today!

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
