Meet Rollie (pronounced like Raleigh)! Rollie was a stray that was taken in at the end of August, and we think he is about 10 months old at the moment. Because he was a stray, his breed is a bit of a mystery, but his vet thinks he's an Anatolian Shepherd. He is already quite large for his age at about 60lbs. and will likely get to be 70lbs. or more. Rollie is a very smart dog who picks up on things quickly and is housebroken, but some more training on basic commands will do him well. He loves people and can get a bit anxious when left alone for too long, so he would love to be part of a family that could give him all the attention he craves. Rollie generally is very calm but expressive, and he is usually content with just laying with you and soaking in the pets, watching tv, or just hanging out! That being said he is still very young (despite his size), so he needs a way to work off all that energy every day. His favorite way is a walk with lots of people and squirrels around, but he is also content with fetch in a backyard. He is a great and loving dog and would love to meet you!
