Pal's Place would love to introduce you to Nico, a sweet, good-natured and friendly puppy looking for a loving forever home! Nico was rescued from an overburdened animal control facility in rural Kentucky along with his 5 littermates. They were the result of an accidental litter of the family dog and when the pups were old enough off to the pound they went :-( We really do not know what breeds make up these little guys, but it definitely looks like there is some Lab, German Shepherd, Chow and maybe even some Border Collie and Rottweiler. Both parents were likely mixed breeds, so he is truly a Heinze 57 mix, but he is 110% adorable! Nico is currently about 4.5 months old and weighs in around 35 pounds. We are expecting him to be in the 60-70 pound range when fully grown. Nico loves making new friends and loves everyone he meets. We think he'll be a great companion for almost any home with the time and energy to raise a young puppy. Please keep in mind that puppies this age need frequent potty breaks (every 3-4 hours or so) and lots of playtime during the day for the next several months so please consider if you truly have the time for a puppy prior to applying. His adoption fee to the rescue is $400. This fee helps to cover his medical expenses while in our care. He is up-to-date with age-appropriate vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. Nico is in a foster home and can be seen by appointment only after an application has been received and approved. For more info or for an application, please email [email protected] Unfortunately, we cannot place holds on our dogs for more than a few days after an application has been received and approved for a meeting. Please do not apply to adopt unless you are ready to welcome a dog into your home.
• Nico's adoption donation is $400. This donation helps to cover his neuter, initial vaccines, initial worming, and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Nadori and her littermates from euthanasia.
• Please email [email protected] for an adoption application and please put the name of the dog in the subject line. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folder; sometimes the applications end up in there!
