2-1/2 year old, handsome Taylor is in need of an adult-only home with someone who can give him some special help! He needs someone to teach him how to be a treasured member of the family because it seems that his previous home may have kept him as an outside dog away from the comfort and companionship of his humans. Taylor would love an active home where he can go on lots of hikes and walks and continue socializing with people. Taylor loves to play with his bones and toys. He would do best as the only pet in his forever home due to his prey drive and tendency to be selective about which dogs he wants to hang out with.
Of course, he would also prefer to have the undivided attention, structure, and training from his humans so they can help develop the wonderful potential we see in him. He is doing well with his housebreaking and is learning manners that no one ever taught him like “sit,” “come” and how to walk nicely on a leash. He’s also learning how to properly greet new people as he gets very excited and wants to jump on them to say “hello.” Taylor has lots of energy and will need an adopter committed to providing regular exercise, however, he settles down once he’s burned off the excess caffeine. Taylor is a very happy lab/pitbull mix at best guess who is somewhat independent, but also enjoys time spent with his humans and will make a loyal companion to whoever is lucky enough to adopt him.
